At RunTeach, we coach runners of all abilities.
We want to share this same knowledge with you!
We have a passion for teaching correct movement patterns and making them stronger.
This means you can continue your running journey and make long strides to new personal bests!
This series of eight practical outdoor sessions is designed to take your running to the next level!
We want to give you the toolkit to run stronger, faster and injury free so you can maximise your
enjoyment of running and set some new personal best times.
The course has been designed to cater for different ability levels, as long as you are able to run 5km in 40 minutes or less. Because the sessions are based around the skills needed for running, it has been crafted to account for faster runners (as fast as 19 minutes or so for 5km). Through warm ups, drills, movement skills, speed work, core work and games, you’ll learn:
- The importance of a warm-up
- How to reduce your injury risk
- Running specific strength work
- Running technique and form
You’ll also improve your strength and general running fitness and lots of fun doing it.
Lead by UK Athletics Coach, Chris O’Brien, the series of skills sessions is progressive in nature with each week building on the previous one. However, they are also designed to stand alone so you can dip in and out as your schedule allows.
Our upcoming 1 day workshop, The Resilient Runner, has been written to help runners of any ability to overcome some of the main questions we get asked:
- Why do we get injured?
- How do I reduce the risk of injury?
- How can I run more efficiently?
- How can I run faster and get that PB?!
If you have ever asked any of these questions, The Resilient Runner Workshop is for you!
Through group discussion, practical exercises and expert experience, we will help you discover the answers to all these questions. You will learn the techniques used by elite athletes and coaches to progress your running to the next level.
You will also receive 3 different warm up routines to take away and use immediately.
The cost for each session is just £5 per person (pre-pay or on the night).
